一、 教學內容
本課是《新標準英語》三起點第七冊Module 4 Unit 1 Happy Thanksgiving.閱讀教學在小學階段的主要目的是：激發(fā)學生的閱讀興趣，讓學生能讀懂簡單的文章，培養(yǎng)良好的閱讀習慣，為以后成為有獨立閱讀能力的人打好基礎。所以結合 本節(jié)課和學生的特點，我將本節(jié)課是確定為一節(jié)閱讀課，主要是通過Simon與Daming 的交談，讓學生對西方的兩個節(jié)日:Flag Day國旗日 和Thanksgiving感恩節(jié)知道并了解。并且能用What do you do o
2、n Flag Day/Thanksgiving .......? Can you tell me more about ........?We carry flags and we sing songs. We have a big family meal . We say “thank-you”for our food , family and friends.進行交流。同時激發(fā)學生對西方節(jié)日西方文化了解的興趣。本課是以中國孩子Daming向美國孩子詢問美國節(jié)日而引發(fā)的談話。Simon向Daming介紹美國的兩個節(jié)日Flag Day和Thanksgiving，對話中涉及到兩個節(jié)日的風俗和人們
3、的主要慶?；顒樱且黄臀幕嚓P的課文。
二、 目標定位
教學目標：【認知目標】 1，能聽說讀寫本節(jié)課的重點單詞和句型，讀懂課文。
【能力目標】 1， 能用本節(jié)課所學的重點單詞短語句型來簡單描述Flag Day 和Thanksgiving 。
【情感目標】 1，學生們通過談論節(jié)日，增強自己的口語表達能力、并通過了解外國節(jié)日，加強對中國節(jié)日的認識，從而比較中西方文化的差異，培養(yǎng)學生的跨文化意識。
2， 讓學生在節(jié)日中體會到家人的愛，教會學生學會感恩。
三、 教學流程
Step 1 導入
T:Clap hands and sing ‘Jingle Bells’ (出示單

Step 2 講授
1,整體略讀，捕捉信息。
T:Is Christmas a Chinese festival?
S:No. It’s an American festival.
T: Good job!It’s very important in America. I think our friend Simon will tell us one more about American festival with some pictures.
5、Let’s watch carefully and chose what festival is it?
T:Yes, It’s Flag Day.
Do you know Flag Day? When is it? It’s on July 14th.
What do people do on Flag Day? You can get the answer from the dialogue and the picture on the book.
