1.知識目標:
聽說認讀單詞:short,long,big,small。能聽懂、會說一些含有簡單形容詞的句子,如:Look at the elephant. Wow.It has a small head. And a short tail.

Step1Warming-up

T: Do you like animals?

Step 2Presentation
1.出示課件導入新課
T: Let’s go to the zoo.
T: Look! What’s this?
S: It’s a panda.
T: Is it thin?
S: No. It’s fat.
2.學習新單詞。(出示課件)
(1)T: Look at the ostrich.The head is small. Small means“小的〞。The body is big. big means
4、“大的〞。板書單詞small, big領讀,跟讀。
(2)體驗式教學
T: Ann, come here. This is my coat. Please put it on. Wow, it’s too big. I think it’s too big for her. Is it big?
S:Yes.
(3)Let’s look at the ostrich again. The tail is short. And the legs are long. short means“短的〞。long means“長的〞。板書單詞short, long領讀,跟讀。

Step 5Extension
Make a monster
六人一組,拿出事先準備好的動物身體部位圖片,學生A用兩三句話描述想象中怪物的模樣,學生B用拼
8、圖的方式拼出一只怪物,學生A檢查學生B拼的怪物,然后一起描述其特征。
學生實際運用所學語言,也培養(yǎng)了學生之間的合作意識。
