教學材料及分析:
本課教學內(nèi)容選自Eileen Christclow創(chuàng)作的《Five Little Monkeys》系列繪本其中的《Five
Little Monkeys Sitting in a Tree》。五只小猴了和媽媽一起到河邊野餐,媽媽才打一下盹,五
只調(diào)皮的小猴子己爬上樹去,說是要去看鱷魚先生,但看著看著,居然開始逗弄起鱷
2、魚先生,
對著下面的鱷魚喊著:“抓不到我吧!”結果小猴子一只只的不見……河岸上的媽媽緊張得
都要哭出來了,但喜劇收場的安排讓一度緊張的氣氛轉為皆大歡喜。本書除了有趣之外,還
富有安全教育的意義。故事語句簡單押韻,句型和段落多次重復,圖文相輔、結局令人出乎
意料。五只機靈調(diào)皮的猴子就像平常的孩子,因此很受學生的喜歡,非常適合作學校英語教
學的補充教材。文本內(nèi)容如下:

繪本適用年級:五一-六年級(三年級起點)
教學設計說明:
本節(jié)閱讀課教學采用“整體語言教學法”(Whole La
7、nguage Approach),關注語言學習
的意義和語言學習的策略,遵循語言理解活動由表及里、由大意到細節(jié)的原則。閱讀前,觀
察觀察封面cover,通過提問激發(fā)孩子閱讀興趣,同時引導學生猜測故事的內(nèi)容和可能會發(fā)生
的情節(jié)。接著,通過觀看視頻的方式呈現(xiàn)繪本(保留故事的結尾),并對先前的猜測進行驗
證,原來五只小猴子在逗弄鱷魚。但是最后猴子去哪了呢?此時再引導學生猜測——討論
一一閱讀繪本。最后再進行聽錄音跟讀模仿和故事表演。
此外,本節(jié)課還始終關注情境,讓孩子在情境的浸潤中,體驗、感受故事的發(fā)展和人物
的表情、心情的變化。
教學目標定位:
1. 能在圖片的幫助下讀懂故事;

2. 能借助語境或圖片理解 supper, spread out, blanket, settle down, climb, crocodile, tease,
catch, snap, hug, scold, dangerous, delicious 等單詞的意思。
3. 能模仿故事錄音,運用正確的語音語調(diào)朗讀故事。
4. 能唱出本故事的手指歌謠,并做出動作。
5. 滲透孩子養(yǎng)成細心觀察的習慣和樹立安全意識的情感教育。

from the USA. She wrote the story and drew the pictures all by herself. She wrote many monkey

Transition: Today I will show you another funny story about the five little monkeys. Do you want
to read it?
1. 出示封面,引導學生讀標題。
So the name of this book is Five little monkeys sitting in the tree.
2. 引導學生再次觀察封面。
(1) T: Let's look at the monkeys carefully. Arc they all boys? How m

(2) T: What else do you see in the picture?
引導學生說出:river tree crocodile,同時完成對新詞crocodile的新授。
3. 預測故事內(nèi)容和可能發(fā)生的事情。
T: So this story is about the five little monkeys and a crocodile. Let's look at the monkeys' faces.
Are they happy? Is the crocodile happy, too.

【設計意圖】:本故事的最大特點之一在于它的結局,既讓人意想不到,又在情理之中,因
此先不讓學生知道結局,設置這樣的懸念一是為了培養(yǎng)孩子細心閱讀的習慣(細心的孩子會
發(fā)現(xiàn),其實猴子躲到樹葉里面了),二是為了培養(yǎng)學生英語思維能力,鼓勵學生大膽猜測。
