Step 1: Review
1. 復習Cartoon time
T: Last class, we knew Bobby and Sam were on an outing in the forest. It was time for lunch. Bobby felt tired and hungry. What happened to them? Let’s try to act the story.
教師逐圖出示請學生表演,其余學生旁白。

3、 復習學過的標識
T:Here’s a public sign.(出示Cartoon time出現的標識)Now try to say other public signs.
Ss: 讓學生說一說已知的公共標識。
T: 學生說的同時引導其余學生就所說的標志再進行解釋“It means …”
3. 歸納公共標識句型結構(課件出示已學過的標識)
公共標識句型常見的有:
No + 名詞. No + 動名詞.
名詞或名詞短語.
祈使句:Please do (not) +V… Do (not) + V…
對公共標識進行問答:
What does it mean

Step 2: Checkout time
1. Listen and choose
T: Well. Here are some public signs for you.(標識分為紅色和藍色兩種不同的顏色)
There are two kinds of public signs.
The red ones and the blue ones.
What’s the difference between them?
S: The red signs mean we can’t do it.
The blue signs mean

T: Great. Let’s listen and choose the right signs.
Ss: 學生根據錄音內容選擇正確的標識,并回答。
教讀兩種公共標識:Parking. Restaurant.
2. Draw and say
a.T: 教讀藍色公共標識的同時板書這兩個標識圖片。
Here are two new signs. Look at this sign. What does it mean?(Parking.)
S: It means we can park our car here.
T: Where can we pu

S: We can put it in the street/hospital/supermarket/park/zoo…
T: What about this sign? What does it mean?
S: It means we can eat or drink here.
T: Where can we put it?
S: We can put it in the street/at the airport…

b.T: This time design signs for some public places by yourselves.
學生可拿出課前收集的公共標識粘貼在書本上或自己設計。
T:Ask and answer with your partner.
Ss根據所給句型同桌間提問。
Show time :投影個別同學的設計,并全班提問。
老師根據學生間的回答在黑板上標注

課件出示一些地鐵的不同標識。
先讓學生欣賞。
T: These signs are the same meaning. Metro.地鐵
再逐一回放剛才的標識并解釋。
In the UK, people call the metro “underground”.
In the US, people call the metro “subway”.
并滲透其余一些國家的說法。
Step 5: Homework
1. Try to introduce your sign album to your parents or friends.
2. Pay attention to the other public signs in our daily life.
