1. 掌握單詞Halloween, need, tomorrow, vase, mask, pumpkin, lantern, horse, change
2．能聽懂、會讀、會說日常交際用語：What (else) do we need? We need ….
二、教學重難點：
1. 單詞Halloween和詞組pumpkin lantern的發(fā)音。
2. 初步了解掌握句型：What do you like? I like …. Do you like …? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
3. 萬圣節(jié)前夕

教學過程
第一步：重難點突破
T: Hello, boys and girls. Nice to meet you. 同學們，大家好。很高興和大家一起來學習第四單元。首先請同學們回答老師一個問題。
T: What date is it today?今天是幾月幾日？
T: Yes, now is October. 對，現在是十月份。In October there are lots of festivals. (在十月里有許多的節(jié)日，例如我們的國慶節(jié)，有時中秋節(jié)也在十月份。) Today we are going to learn a new one. We call
3、it “Halloween”.(今天我們要來學習一個新的節(jié)日，我們稱它為“萬圣節(jié)前夕”。)
T: Now please read after me. (PPT②點出單詞，帶讀Halloween, 教)現在，請同學們跟我讀一讀。
T: 請同學們再跟老師來讀一讀，大家要注意老師的口型。（跟讀單詞）

4、ct. 31st. People usually have Halloween parties on that day.萬圣節(jié)前夕在每年的十月三十一日，在那天人們經常穿著奇怪的衣服，帶著面具聚會來慶祝。For the party, people need many things. What do they need? Can you guess? (為了準備這個聚會，人們需要很多東西，你能猜出他們需要什么嗎？假如你知道，你可以回答 They need …, 在這里need的意思是需要。請同學們跟著老師讀。(PPT④，學讀) 他們需要一些什么？請同學們看一看我和這位同學的示范。

第二步：課文學習

T: 好，同學們，現在請你們看一看課文圖片來回答老師幾個問題。The first question, what is the date in the picture?
T: Yes, it’s October the 30th. Tomorrow is Octo
8、ber the 31st. It’s Halloween. Do you know what tomorrow means?你知道“tomorrow ”是什么意思嗎？
T: Yes, it means 明天。Now please read after me. 讀的時候請同學們注意老師的口型(PPT⑩，學讀)

3. What masks do they like?這里有老師列舉了一些面具，請大家再看一遍短片，然后選擇回答這個問題。

(本步驟設計說明：本部分教師利用課文圖片一，以及幾個主要的問題來組織課文教學，線索非常清晰，對學生整體的理解課文有較大的幫助。由于在重難點突破部分已經對其中一些難點進行了分解，所以這里對學生來講應該還是比較簡單的。)
第三步：鞏固操練
T: OK! Just now we went shopping with Ben and his family and they bought things for Halloween. 現在我們一起來回顧一下本節(jié)課的內容．請你根據課文，將下面的短文填寫完整．(PPT⒂出示填空短文)
