Before this unit, students have already known something about charity. However, they don’t know Oxfam Trailwalker well. Before the class, I have assigned them a task. That is to find some useful information about Oxfam Trailwalker on the Internet. 教學對象 Students have already known something about charity from the learning of Unit 4~5. However, they don’t know this topic well. Before the class, students have mastered the pronunciation and meanings of some useful words. 教學目標 Knowledge aims: 1. To master the pronunciation and meanings of some useful words and phrases, e.g. group, tough, hike trail, within, hill, mountain, excellent, chance,spirit,team, spirit,record,of course, training… 2. To have a general idea about Oxfam Trailwalker, e.g. What is it? When and where is it held every year? Why is it held? Who can join it? Ability aims:1. Can guess the general idea by reading the passage 2. Can catch the key points to answer some detailed questions 3. Can finish the exercises by listening 4. Can read the passage fluently Emotional Aims: 1. Step 2: Presentation 1. Present the new words and check the pronunciation of each 2. review the words and play a game Step 3: Presentation present a picture and ask some questions: e.g. What is it? What does it look like? lead in the topic Step 4: Fast reading 1. go through the passage quickly and answer the questions 2. check the answers Step 5: Listening listen to paragraph 1-2 and answer the questions check the answers Step 6: Detailed reading 1. read paragraph 3-4 and answer some detailed questions 2. check the answer Step 7: Speaking read paragraph 5 loudly and answer the question check the answer Step 8: Group work 1. divide the students into several group and finish the exercises on P97 C1-C2 2. invite some students to read them and check the answers Step 9:Individual work 1. finish the exercise on p96 B1 2. invite a student to read it and check the answer Step 10:petition 1. read the passage by themselves 2. one group read one paragraph 3. choose the best one Step 11:Homework 1. read the passage 2. recite new words and phrases 3. write an introduction to Oxfam Trailwalker 2mins 5mins 2mins 5mins 5mins 5mins 5mins 5mins 5mins 5mins 1min Present some logos Present new words Present a picture of Oxfam trailwalker’s logo and ask some questions Present questions and check the answers Play the tape, present questions and check the answers Present questions and check the answers Present the question and check the answer Divide groups Choose the winner Resign the homework Speak out what are they? read each word and play a game Guess the logo and answer the questions Scan the passage and answer some questions Listen to the tape and answer questions Read the passage carefully and answer questions Read loudly and answer the question Discuss and finish the exercises Finish the exercise alone Read the passage 復習學過的國際慈善機構的標志,為后面學習樂施會毅行者的標志做鋪墊 通過游戲來檢測單詞的學習,包括單詞的拼寫,讀音以及含義,并且對獲勝的學生加以獎勵,以鼓勵學生對的單詞記憶 通過圖片的展示引出文章的主題,讓學生猜測是什么標志和標志像什么,既自然又能提起學生對本主題的興趣 首先讓學生快速閱讀,大致了解文章的主體意思 聽力材料選擇一些細節(jié)性的問題,里面?zhèn)戎貙?shù)字,地點等做了要求 設置精讀部分為了學生更加詳細掌握這一部分并訓練學生如何精讀并答題 這個部分是對學生讀的訓練 通過平時的小組活動培養(yǎng)學生的合作精神,做到知識的互相交流 個人活動是培養(yǎng)學生平時自主學習 這一部分考驗的是學生的team spirit并且讓學生重視對文章的讀誦 針對當堂學習的內(nèi)容,布置適當?shù)淖鳂I(yè),做到知識的鞏固 教學反思 本節(jié)課是reading的第一課時,傾向學生聽說讀的訓練,并設置了快讀和精讀兩個環(huán)節(jié),讓學生了解這兩種閱讀方法的區(qū)別。在課程安排上利用游戲,比賽,個人活動和小組活動來開展,讓課程多樣化,增加學生的學習興趣。本節(jié)課也有一些需要改進的地方,比如小組合作時,學生的參與度和參與面沒有達到我預期的效果,只局限同桌討論,有的同學是自己獨立完成,這主要是因為學生平時的學習習慣,不擅長集體活動,這也是要在以后課堂中要注意的,需要多鼓勵學生進行團隊合作。- 配套講稿:
