Unit 4　Wildlife protection 所給詞為形容詞或副詞的做題技巧(語法填空) 方法指導 在語法填空中,如果提示詞為形容詞或副詞,可從以下兩個維度著手突破: 1)考查形容詞與副詞或名詞的轉(zhuǎn)換,此時主要根據(jù)句子成分和詞性的相互修飾關(guān)系確定。比如,如果修飾動詞、形容詞或副詞需用副詞形式;如果在句中作主語或賓語需用名詞形式。 2)考查形容詞或副詞的比較等級。根據(jù)上下文或標志詞確定使用比較級還是最高級。如見到than要考慮使用形容詞或副詞的比較級。 典例引領 (2017課標全國Ⅲ) 　　閱讀下面短文,在空白處填入1個適當?shù)膯卧~或括號內(nèi)單詞的正確形式。 　　She looks like any other schoolgirl, fresh-faced and full of life. Sarah Thomas is looking forward to the challenge of her new A-level course. But unlike her school friends, 16-year-old Sarah is not spending half-term 　1　(rest). Instead, she is earning ￡6,500 a day as 　2　 model in New York. Sarah 　3　(tell) that she could be Britain’s new supermodel, earning a million dollars in the next year. Her father Peter, 44, wants her to give up school to model full-time. But Sarah, 　4　has taken part in shows along with top models, wants 　5　(prove) that she has brains as well as beauty. I don’t want to have nothing else to fall back on when I can’t model any more.” 方法運用 [語篇解讀]　本文為記敘文。Sarah現(xiàn)在是一名在校生,她還是一名兼職模特。她的父親建議她放棄學業(yè)做一名專職模特,但她卻做出了不同的選擇。 1.resting　考查非謂語動詞。固定結(jié)構(gòu)spend some time(in) doing sth.花費時間做某事。 2.a　考查冠詞。句意:相反,她現(xiàn)在在紐約作為一名模特每天掙6,500英鎊。model為可數(shù)名詞,此處表示泛指,故填冠詞a。 3.has been told/was told　考查時態(tài)和語態(tài)。句意:Sarah被告知她可以成為英國的一名超模新星,第二年就可以有一百萬美元的收入。根據(jù)語境可知Sarah與tell之間為被動關(guān)系,故用被動語態(tài)。此處既可以用一般過去時態(tài)表示過去發(fā)生的動作,也可以用現(xiàn)在完成時態(tài),表示過去發(fā)生的動作對現(xiàn)在的影響。 4.who　考查定語從句。設空處引導非限制性定語從句,先行詞為Sarah,故填關(guān)系代詞who。 5.to prove　考查非謂語動詞。want to do sth.想要做某事。 6.education　考查詞性轉(zhuǎn)換。形容詞性物主代詞后面跟名詞,故填education。 7.invitations　考查名詞復數(shù)。根據(jù)several可知,此處應該填復數(shù)形式。 8.in　考查介詞。a degree in...指“某專業(yè)的學位”,專業(yè)前用介詞in。 9.es　考查動詞時態(tài)。由上下文語境以及時間狀語at the moment可知,此處應該為一般現(xiàn)在時態(tài),主語為第三人稱單數(shù),故填es。 10.certainly　考查副詞。設空處在句中作狀語修飾形容詞fun,故填副詞。
